Little League Shoulder (LLS) is a common overuse injury to the growth plate of the proximal humerus in the pediatric population.  Youth baseball pitchers are the most commonly affected.  Pain with throwing is the most common chief complaint.  Physical exam and Radiographs are often diagnostic, but sometimes an MRI is needed.  Treatment mainly consists of rest, ice, antiinflammatories and review of proper mechanics with a gradual return to throwing program.  Average time to return to sport is 4 months, but approximately 25% will return at a different position.
