Dr. Rudman, a fellowship trained Orthopaedic Surgeon in Ridgewood, NJ, is proud to be part of the medical advisory board of Physimax.  Physimax is a markerless motion-capture technoligy used to aid in preventing injuries, increasing performance and returning to play or work after an injury or surgery.  Physimax's technology was devloped using minimal equipment including a 3D camera such as a Microsoft Kinect and a computer.  Physimax has be able to adapt its algorithms to be used with cameras that are on smart phones and tablets.  This will allow the masses to access this technology that once was only available to professional and elite athletes.  Two of my partners were recently quoted in an article on SportTechie Physimax.

Soccer is one of the most popular sports in the world and participation in the USA is growing rapidly.  Unfortunately, participants of at all levels are getting injured.  Dr. David P. Rudman, a fellowship trained Orthopaedic Sports Medicine Surgeon, will be giving a lecture on some common soccer injuries, treatments and prevention techniques.
