David P. Rudman, MD an Orthopaedic Surgeon at Specialty Orthpaedics of New Jersey, PA in Ridgewood, NJ was recognized at a "Top Doctor" for 2020.  He was recognized for excellence in Orthopaedic Surgery and Sports Medicine.

Dr. Rudman, a fellowship trained Orthopaedic Surgeon in Ridgewood, NJ, is proud to be part of the medical advisory board of Physimax.  Physimax is a markerless motion-capture technoligy used to aid in preventing injuries, increasing performance and returning to play or work after an injury or surgery.  Physimax's technology was devloped using minimal equipment including a 3D camera such as a Microsoft Kinect and a computer.  Physimax has be able to adapt its algorithms to be used with cameras that are on smart phones and tablets.  This will allow the masses to access this technology that once was only available to professional and elite athletes.  Two of my partners were recently quoted in an article on SportTechie Physimax.

More then 600,000 Total Knee Replacements are done a year in the United States.  It is one of the most successful procedures in Orthopaedics.  It provides a significant improvement for patients quality of life and therefore is rewarding to preform.  As an Orthopaedic surgeon I am always looking for ways to improve upon current treatments.  The Mako Robotic-Arm Assisted Total Knee Replacement system has some great advantages.
